Hoyu Beautylabo whip hair color in Silky Ash

late post sorry.. my computer messed with me -.-"
my post this time is about hair dye and it's from hoyu. it's called beautylabo.

Beautylabo Furi Furi Whip Hair Colour comes in a 18 different shades. i got mine silky ash. because i'm so in love with ashy colour and silvery hair color.

okay. so i dyed my hair about 2 weeks ago with beautylabo, prior dyeing my hair i bleached it first with Makarizo bleaching powder and 30vol developer. i bleached my hair *only 1 time* about 3 weeks ago, so i can treat and let my 'fried' hair rest for 1 week.

here's the bleaching result

 (under sunlight)
please excuse the uneven bleached hair. as you can see it's orange.. if you know dangdut group singer 'Trio Macan', my hair looked like one of them. scary...

(flash)
it looks different with flash.. it looks yellow

and here's the beautylabo package.. my mom mistook it as an ice cream..lol..
top row(L-R): pair of gloves, instruction leaflet
bottom row(L-R): shaker(the bottle is the shaker), agent 1, agent 2/powder color, after color conditioner.

how-to-use and before and after.

the thing you need to do is put on gloves, after that mix agent 1 and agent 2 into the shaker
after that shake it for 30times. and voila..

it looks soooo whippyyy.. i hate the smell! strong ammonia. i hardly breath.
and the things i realized is that you need to use it ASAP, cos if not, the whip will 'melt' to be water again..
and the other thing is it's blue-based hair colour.. as you know blue kills orange, vice versa.

here's the after

 (under sunlight)

it's hard to capture the real color.. as you can see, they're yellow, orange, ash in the same time. it's not kill the orange, but i was so surprised with the result.

 (under natural lightning)

this photo almost look the exact color but its still not the real color.

 (with flash)

looks yellow and there's still orange left there..

(with flash)

ah here's the better photo of the real color.. ashy blonde and I LIKE IT. well i want more silvery hair.. but i think it's impossible with only 1 time bleaching process.

so overall i like it but i hate the smell and it's a bit pricey i think..
hmm and also it 'fried' my hair.. yeah strong ammonia.

so what you guys think about beautylabo?
have you tried one?

Review : Garnier Color Naturals in 5 Light Brown

hi ho
i bought Garnier Color Naturals in Light Brown a month ago for US$3
i choose this color because it's the lightest color from Garnier Color Naturals.
in Indonesia, Garnier Color naturals has a short range of shades --" only 5 shades of colour.
and
yesterday i dyed my hair light brown with Garnier Color Naturals in 5 Light Brown.

so, here you go

GARNIER COLOR NATURALS
nourishing permanently hair colour cream
with natural olive oil

 • Natural looking long-lasting colour
• extra soft and silky hair
• easy to apply, non drip formula

let's start

the package (it should be more ashy brown, i don't know why in these picture looks ashy black)

the colour results and the steps
notice the colour result? if you have dark brown hair, the result will be more lighter than you have a brown hair.
that's weird --" ha ha

inside the package there are
(L-R) Cream Hair Colorant Tube, Developer Bottle, 2 Instruction Leaflet ( one of them in Bahasa Indonesia and the other in English and Indian), and a pair of gloves.

colorant mixed with developer
the color looks ashy brown huh?
like a mud lol
after that i applied it all over my hair
and then waited for 45 minutes

and the result

.....

....

...

..

.

before and after (taken under natural lightning)

okay, i have a brown reddish hair color with a hint of ash and as you can see above
before the coloring process i have a lines of reddish brown hair but after coloring my hair, it turns out to be more darker. see?

before and after (taken under natural lightning)

look at that.. it makes my hair looked more DARKER with a hint of ash, red, and brown.
well i don't dislike it but it's just not the color i want it to be --"

but usually the color will be more lighter after a few washes, so i'll just gonna wait for a week and then update it to let you know.

Repurchase ? no.. i don't think so because i want a lighter color for my hair.

Overall : IMO if you want a darker shade of reddish brown with a hint of ash, it is for you. but if you want a lighter shade, it's not for you.

note that all products shown above purchased by myself. it's not a sponsored review.

how about you? what hair color do you prefer? let me know ya :)
